Inside Sales Assistant

We have an opening for an Inside Sales Assistant in a growing company with an opportunity to advance your career working in a strong team environment. The successful candidate will work with our Business Development Team to enhance Essco’s growing local, national and global service opportunities by performing inside sales duties and assisting the outside sales team. Apply on Indeed.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Calling customers on monthly recalls for equipment that is serviced in-house
  • Provide quotes for new customers and re-quotes for existing customers
  • Answer incoming sales calls and provide necessary information regarding services and or quotations
  • Assist the Sales Team in setting up new accounts
  • Research specifications and capabilities for equipment that is not in our database for quotation purposes
  • Assist the Sales Team and customer service team to accommodate existing customers with any issue that may arise
  • Update the CRM program with current information as needed
  • Prepare sales literature packages
  • Work with the on-site scheduling department as needed to schedule jobs for new customers.


  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers
  • Able to develop solid product knowledge and consult on services
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Technical experience with electronic/mechanical test equipment helpful (preferred)
  • Will train the right candidate
