Elemental Machines

Elemental Machines (“EM”) was founded in 2015

by Sridhar Iyengar, a serial entrepreneur with two previously successful ventures in AgaMatrix (Sanofi’s white label glucometer device) and Misfit Wearables (acquired by Fossil).

During the course of building a reliable consumer-based wearable, Sridhar solved a seemingly intractable issue within the traditional supply chain: reproducibility. Elemental was founded on the notion that their supply chain solution would be applicable in life sciences, particularly during drug discovery (R&D) and manufacturing.

EM’s sensor-based platform can be used to gather and assess critical equipment and environmental parameters that can and do affect critical processes, often making them irreproducible.

We envision a world in which money isn’t wasted trying to duplicate processes. This will be done by measuring everything.

Vermont Gage

VPT was founded by Norman C. Leduc and Raymond R. Boutin. VPT’s introduction into the metalworking industry was through manufacturing knock-out pins, ejector pins, perforators, special punches and virtually any precision round and ground pins used by a variety of cutting tool blank users. Since the inception, VPT has expanded its product offering to also include core rods and medical burr blanks. We now service over 1,500 customers.

With our experience in precision grinding VPT created a Gage division to manufacture a wide range of gage pins and sets. Vermont Gage was formed in 1980. In 1989, the gage line expanded to include all classes of tolerances. Additionally, we have expanded the types of gages offered to our customers by adding taperlock gages, ring gages, and thread ring gages.

In 2000, we opened our thread manufacturing division in a state of the art manufacturing facility in Franklin, Kentucky. We have expanded this operation a number of times as the demand for our thread product has risen year over year.

Vermont Gage's success has been built on quality products, competitive price and delivery, technical expertise and exceptional customer service.

Meyer Gage

Founded in 1960 by Albert Meyer, the Meyer Gage Company was the first to commercially introduce Class ZZ gage pins sets. Al Meyer knew from the start that reliable accuracy is essential. At Meyer, our reliability and success is based on dedication to one field – fixed limit gaging, with continuous investments in grinding and inspection equipment, our quality assurance inspection program, and certainly our most important asset of all…. our employees.

The value in the Meyer pin gage grows from the company’s attention to detail starting with 52100 bearing quality steel (Carbon Chrome Alloy) hardened throughout. Details like uniform 2″ lengths, no sharp edges, marking of both boxes and gages, sizes laser etched with serial number on each piece (except M-0 Pins) further contribute to the innate value of the Meyer line.
