We have an opening for a full-time Mechanical Calibration Technician in our Chelmsford, MA, laboratory. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized and collaborative.

Perform NIST traceable and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited calibrations of mechanical instruments, including but not limited to; micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gages, pin gages, pressure gages, force gages, torque devices, crimpers, etc...
Three years experience as a bench technician (preferred).
Will train a candidate with a technical, electrical, or mechanical background.
PMEL training or equivalent formal technical training (preferred)
Familiar with the requirements of ISO/IEC17025:2017, ISO 9001 and ANSI/NCSL Z-540
Computer literate and able to use enterprise lab management software, MS excel.
Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
Excellent math skills.
Regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
Required to walk, lift small objects, and lift up to 50lbs.
Maintain a safety awareness to extreme temperature sources.
Professional office environment.
Routinely use office equipment, including computers, copiers, and phones.
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, pressurized cylinders, chemicals, and high-voltage power.
Noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
