Michael Walsh, President
Michael has held many positions at Essco over the past 20+ years and now focuses on new business development. He holds a BS/BA in biomedical science and history along with an MBA, both from Boston University. In addition, he completed an executive management program at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Troy Thomas, Executive Vice President
Troy joined Essco in 1995. Previously he worked in the printed circuit board and electronic industry. He attended electronics trade school and holds a BA in Business Management from Franklin Pierce University. Troy has been an Account Manager, Sales Team Leader and Vice President of Sales. He has taken many classes in marketing, sales and leadership and has studied different disciplines of Metrology through NCSLI.

Diane Stephens, Vice President, Finance
Diane joined Essco in March 2013 as Controller and was promoted to Vice President of Finance and Operations in March 2015. She has previously served as Controller in various industries including software development, hardware and systems, and professional services.  Diane holds her BS in Accounting from Worcester State College and graduated with her MBA in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, achieving a 4.0 GPA.  Diane is a member of the Electronic Engineering Technology Advisory Board at Nashua Community College.

Joe Fournier, Senior Operations Manager
Joe joined Essco in 1992 as an Electro-Mechanical Technician after spending 7 years in the US ARMY as a Calibration Technician.  He then spent over 25 years at Sanofi Genzyme, starting as a Calibration Technician and spending 9 years managing the internal Metrology team.  Joe also spent 11 years as an Associate Director of IT, managing IT teams and working closely with Quality Assurance on computer system lifecycle activities.  A graduate of the U.S. Air Force PMEL School, he also holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Nichols College.  Joe re-joined Essco in 2019 as Operations Manager.

Nick Paoletta, Laboratory Manager
Nick joined Essco in 2014 as a Technical Writer after working at Vaisala for over 8 years as both a Calibration Technician and Quality Manager.  He attended Plymouth State University majoring in Meteorology and minoring in Technical Mathematics.  His area of expertise are in temperature and relative humidity calibrations.

Mike Stanislovitis, Quality Manager
Mike started at Essco in 2018 as a Quality Engineer. Previously, Mike worked for Wilson Instruments / Instron Corporation, where he gained extensive experience in achieving and maintaining the internal laboratory to ISO/IEC 17025 compliance to both NVLAP & UKAS accrediting bodies. Mike also worked at General Electric as both a Quality Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer and at Underwriters Laboratory where he was the Manager of Physical Testing.

Debra Rogers, Digital Operations Project Manager
Prior to joining Essco in 1993, Deb was a customer service rep at Tektronix and owned her own business. She attended North Middlesex Community College and Fitchburg State College, studying business management and various computer applications.

Tom Thomas, Onsite Manager
In 1997 Tom joined our team as an onsite calibration technician, after working at calibration laboratories at Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories, Advanced Conversion Technology and ISC Defense Systems. He has been our onsite manager since 2005. While serving in the U.S. Navy from 1978 to 1986, Tom worked in two different calibration laboratories. A graduate of the U.S. Air Force PMEL School, he has an associate degree in electronics from Key West Community College.
