Test Instrument Calibration Technician
Description:
Our test instrument calibration technicians handle the calibration of measuring and test instruments, such as signal generators, pulse generators, frequency counters, power meters, oscilloscopes, DMM’s, power supplies, electronic loads, decade boxes, digital thermometers, thermocouples and mechanical hand tools.
Positions are available on the first and second shift and working at customers’ sites.
Minimum Requirements:
- Three years of experience as an on-bench technician
- PMEL training or equivalent formal technical training
- Ability to apply metrology skills to a wide range of electronic instrumentation
- Familiarity with the requirements of ISO 17025, ISO 9001 and ANSI/NCSL Z-540
- Computer literacy and ability to use lab management software
