Electrical Standards Lab
Essco's electronic calibration lab is fully equipped to provide calibration of instruments ranging from the simplest meter to the most complex multifunction calibrator. Our primary standards laboratory provides the resources you need for the traceability of your lab standards.
Dimensional
Essco's trained technicians provide expert calibration of all types of precision dimensional standards, gages, and hand tools. Our dimensional laboratory is environmentally controlled ensuring the correct atmosphere for the precise measurements your instruments require. Utilizing our 20 inch gage block comparator or Labmaster Length Measuring system we have the uncertainties to meet your needs..
RF
Essco has the ability to calibrate the majority of your instruments such as power meters, generators, analyzers and counters over a range of 0 to 50GHz. Our GPS receiver provides an uncertainty of 5x10-12.
High Voltage Measurement
Essco has the ability to calibrate your high voltage dividers like the Ross Engineering VD Series and Hipotronics KVM Series as well as Valhalla Scientific and Vitrek high voltage meters.
Temperature
Essco calibrates a wide range of temperature instruments including thermocouples, thermometers, RTDs, controllers, chambers, ovens and infrared thermometers. We're capable of measuring from –200 to 660 degrees Celsius and generating from –196 to 700 degrees Celsius.
Force
Essco calibrates a wide range of force devices. With our Morehouse Measuring Machine Essco can calibrate your strain gage, transducer or force gage from 0 to 10,000 lbf.
Fiber Optics
Essco Calibration Laboratory is one of the few laboratories in the nation to offer calibration of fiber optic test instruments. Capabilities include converters, attenuators, power meters, backreflection meters, OTDRs, sources, amplifiers, lightwave meters and optical spectrum analyzers. We can produce Tunable wavelengths from 1460-1580nm and single wavelengths of 670, 780, 850, 980, 1300, 1550, 1625, 1531.5910, 1531.5879 and 1531.5848 nm’s. We can also measure wavelength from 600-1700nm and measure power levels from 450-1700mnm.
Pressure
Essco’s pressure laboratory utilizes state-of-the-art precision quartz transducers to give you the level of uncertainty necessary for your instrument calibration. With a range of 0 to 10,000 psi pneumatic, 10,000 to 30,000 psi hydraulic and vacuum/absolute pressure ranges of 0.8Pa to 160kPa, Essco has your pressure solution.
Gas Flow
Essco’s gas measuring system allows us to calibrate your mass flow controller, rotameter and flow meter. With a range of 0.5 sccm to 100 slpm we have your flow solution.
Light Lab
Essco Calibration Laboratory is one of the few laboratories in the nation to offer photometry calibration. Housed in our newly designed dark room Essco’s Illuminance Projector and detector can calibrate your photometer at a correlated color temperature of 2856 Kelvin from 0 to 2000 foot candles or 0 to 15,000 lux.
Humidity
Essco calibrates all your humidity/dewpoint instruments using state-of-the-art standards. Our humidity chamber allows us to produce humidity levels of 0-100% RH and temperatures from -10 to 70 degrees Celsius.
Velocity
Essco’s trained technicians provide the expert calibrations you need. Using our calibrated wind tunnel, Essco has the ability to calibrate your hot-wire anemometer from a range of 30 to 8800 feet per minute.
Velocity
The Airflow Special Products Ltd. Anemometer Calibration Rig-Open Jet Wind Tunnel is designed for the calibration of vane type anemometers and has a velocity range 0.25 to 30.5m/sec. (50 to 6000 ft/min.).
Shipping and Receiving
Our shipping receiving staff can ship your instruments anywhere in the world. We utilize a foam packaging system that provides the safe transport of your instruments via any major carrier.
