Essco Calibration Laboratory was founded in 1961 as a primary standards laboratory. Since then, we have steadily grown by adding many new capabilities including primary and secondary instrumentation to become New England's premier full-service calibration and repair lab. We provide calibration and repair services to our customers in either our own environmentally controlled multi-laboratory facility or on-site at their location.

The People at Essco Calibration Laboratory

We are currently performingelectronic,mechanical, anddimensionalcalibration services for 2000 companies per year with a staff of over sixty professionals including thirty-two qualified technicians, five customer service representatives and five telephone-dispatched pick-up and delivery vans driven by equipment-handling specialists. Our training from NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), ASQ, NCSLI, Fluke, Agilent, Ruska, Mitutoyo, Hart and other industry leaders of calibration and laboratory standards ensures our technical competence.

With two complete shifts, we are able to satisfy your emergency situations, as well as, provide quick turnaround calibration services on a consistent basis.

The Facilities at Essco Calibration Laboratory

Essco is located in a facility consisting of over 19,000 sq. ft. with four environmentally controlled labs. Between our full-service calibration laboratories and on-site calibrations at our customer facilities, we complete over 90,000 calibrations per year.

Essco Calibration Laboratory's quality system is registered to ISO 9001:2000 (BVQi Certificate #125891) and accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 (A2LA Certificate #1388.01). Our system is compliant to the requirements of: ISO10012:2003, MIL-STD-45662A (cancelled) and applicable portions of 10CFR Part 21 and Part 50 App B, 21CFR Part 211, and 21CFR Part 820.
