New Humidity Calibration Capability
We have purchased a Thunder Scientific Model 2500 Benchtop Humidity Generator. This generator is a self contained system capable of producing atmospheres of known humidities using the fundamental, NIST proven, "two pressure" principle. This system is capable of continuously supplying accurately known humidity values for instrument calibration, evaluation and verification.
The test chamber can accommodate humidity sensors, hygrothermographs and hygrometers. Virtually any humidity and temperature point may be generated, for any length of time, within the operational limits of the generator. The output of the device under test may then be compared with the generators printed data for analysis.
Humidity Range 10 to 95% Relative Humidity Accuracy ± 0.5%,
Chamber Temperature Range -10 to 70°C
Chamber Temperature Accuracy ± 0.06°C
We have expanded our Anemometer Calibration Capabilities
With the recent purchase of an Omega WT4401 Windtunnel. We now have the capability to calibrate anemometers with flow rates from 25 to 1000 feet per minute with an accuracy of 2% of reading and from 1000
to 9000 feet per minute with an accuracy of 1% of reading. This deluxe windtunnel package is an environmental monitoring system that measures barometric pressure, room temperature, humidity and differential pressure. By monitoring room conditions, standard differential pressures can be converted to actual differential pressure readings to ensure accurate flowrates. The uniform flowrate is determined by monitoring a highly repeatable differential pressure sensor which has been calibrated to each individual windtunnel as a system.
