    We have made some improvements to EsscoNET based on customer feedback. These changes include:
    • A "Download to Excel" function that allows you to export lists from "Calibrations Due", "Work in Process" and "All Past Cals" for further processing or importation to another program.
    • New menu titles that better describe the contents of the reports.
    • New sorting capabilities so you can sort it your way.
    • An ability to search for "Past Due" equipment on the "Calibration Due" screen.
    Certificates Run the history of an Item with the Asset Calibration History report. Select the report you want more detail on and select View Details . On the next screen, click on the icon under "Cert" .

    Gaining Access

    To try EsscoNet, login using the Customer ID of "14" and the password of "password" . If you want to have access to your records, contact Essco at 800-325-2201 X124 and provide your name, company name, phone number and email address. A customer service representative will contact you to set up your account and assign your customer ID and password for access the next business day.

    Equipment History

    The All Past Calibrations & Certs report is designed to give an historic overview of a specific asset. The report lists the various assets in the history file. The View Detail button provides a list of individual historic calibration events for the selected asset. Selecting "View Detail" from this list will produce an electronic copy of the certificate of calibration.

    Excel ® Download

    You can elect to download the current onscreen list (not details) to an Excel ® spreadsheet for future processing or importing to software by using the "Download to Excel" button.

    Login Procedure

    Enter your Customer ID and Password in the appropriate fields. This information is provided to you by Essco Calibration Laboratory.

    Look Ahead

    Calibration Due - Look Ahead allows you to look forward to see what items will be due calibration. You have several options on this screen. You can also select "Past Due" equipment sort for only overdue items.

    There are two types of date options for the Calibration Due Notice:

    • Default Day Selections (either 30, 60 or 90, 120 or All days days into the future), or
    • Manual Date Range (requires you to enter specific dates)

    The report can be sorted by several criteria:

    • Asset ID
    • Description
    • Department
    • Last Cal Date
    • Next Cal Date
    Select the desired sort option. Click the Submit button to generate the report with the selected sorting.

    The report will provide the following information: Asset ID, Description, Department, Last Cal Date, and Next Cal Date.


    Most Recent Cals

    The Last Calibration Summary provides a "thumbnail" view of any items due during a particular date range.

    There are two types of date options for the Asset Calibration - Detail Report:

    • Default Day Selections (either 30, 60 or 90, 120 days into the future), or
    • Manual Date Range (requires you to enter specific dates)
    The report can be sorted by several criteria:
    • Asset ID
    • Description
    • Department
    • Last Cal Date
    • Next Cal Date

    Running a Report

    The basic steps for running a report are common to all pages:

    1. Select the report based on your needs.
    2. Enter the search criteria necessary for the specific report.
    3. Click the Submit button to regenerate the report.
    4. Click View Detail to view more information about a specific report record.
    5. Select Finished when you are done with the report.


    Security of data

    The data in EsscoNet is managed with ViewMate software by Norfox Software of Seattle, WA. The data is stored on a firewall-protected, RAID-configured NT server at Essco with daily tape backup, UPS and anti-virus protection. It is transmitted securely to a similarly-protected server in Seattle for posting each day. Only customers wishing to have EsscoNet access have their data posted.

    Work in Process

    Work in Process provides you a list of items that are currently being serviced by the calibration laboratory. There are four sort options available for this screen. The report will return a list of equipment that is work in progress (WIP) and provide the Asset ID, the description and its current status.

    List of Assets

    The List of Assets Report lists of all assets in history, and an overview of each calibration event for each asset.

    Viewing Details

    Selecting the View Details icon will provide additional information about that instrument or calibration event beyond what is presented on the list.
